Sustainability takes centre stage for beam and we believe that all beam members feel as passionately about this as we do. Some members are well along in their journey and some, through no fault of their own, are just starting out or reigniting after the pandemic.

We want to support members on this journey and the ‘green beam’ team are set up to offer practical support and sign-post members should they need help.

beam would like all members, agents and suppliers to commit to the following undertakings for their businesses:

  • We have a sustainability policy and set of goals for our organisation.
  • We have or will work towards an accreditation by 2025
  • We will have an energy and/or waste reduction programme in place by 2025
  • We will track and monitor our carbon footprint – Travel, Energy & Waste by 2025

What you need before applying

Make sure you have the following ready to upload:

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
