The Power of Events Call to Action

The Power of Events invites industry professionals to catch up on its Two-Year Anniversary Broadcast, now available on demand. This session features insights from industry leaders, updates on key projects such as the Schools Engagement Programmeand Events Industry Insight App, and discussions on the future of the UK events industry. Follow The Power of Events on LinkedIn to stay informed about future broadcasts and updates.

Industry professionals can connect with The Power of Events at upcoming events, including the TPI Awards (Feb 24), International CONFEX & Event Production Show (Feb 26-27), and Production Futures On Tour (March 4).

The Events Industry Insight App continues to support industry research with six pulse checks scheduled by March, including collaborations with students at Northampton University, Greenwich University, and Manchester Metropolitan University. These insights will inform key discussions at CONFEX and the Event Production Show.

The Schools Engagement Programme is expanding, having engaged 18K young people across 82 school visits in 2024 and expecting to reach ten of thousands more students across all four nations in 2025. With further expansion planned, The Power of Events invites sponsors interested in supporting new regions such as the South West (Bath/Bristol) and London sub-regions to get in touch at hello@thepowerofevents.org.

What you need before applying

Make sure you have the following ready to upload:

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
