2nd March, UK: Lime Venue Portfolio has launched a new series of learning and networking meetings for event organisers; Lunch, Link & Learn. The aim is to give planners the chance to meet with other industry peers and to discuss topics and issues shared across the group.
The first Lunch, Link & Learn event took place earlier this month at Sedgebrook Hall, Northampton, and bought together 15 organisers for a group discussion on early trends in the world of events in 2022. The discussion included the rise of sustainability around events, as well as general business confidence. Maria Scullion, National Sales Manager, Lime Venue Portfolio, hosted the discussion while the venue showcased the brand’s Meeting’s for Change menu, launched last month.
With a further 16 similar meetings taking place throughout the year and across the country, these informative mini events allow delegates to network with fellow industry connections, enjoy new and different event menus, and tour a selection of venues.
The initial feedback from the Lunch, Link & Learn event has been positive:
Martin Stephens, from Off Limits, commented: “What a great day. Lovely to see everyone and there were some great discussions had. Thanks for organising, and for the great hospitality and conversation. A lovely group of people and so much positivity – loved it!”
Meanwhile Donna Hodges, Inception Events, added: “Thank you for such a great first ‘Lunch, Link & Learn’. A great way to see the venue, experience the fabulous food, meet the team and network with other agencies. Highly recommend this concept and definitely worth attending at least one or more if I can. A thoroughly enjoyable event.”
Finally, Liz Gibon from S4E, commented, “Great to be one of the first to attend LVPs ‘Lunch, Link & Learn’ with great industry topics covered in this session, regarding the importance to our clients on stainability and also to discover that the group do not use any air-freight, and the savings this is making for the environment”.
The next Lunch, Link & Learn will take place at MSHED, Bristol, 16th March 2022, with event organisers able to sign up to this and forthcoming events via the Lime Venue Portfolio website.
