The Eastside Rooms Partners with Watterston Associates

3rd November 22, UK: The Eastside Rooms is continuing to target domestic and international association meetings through a partnership with industry expert Julie Watterston from Watterston Associates.

Julie is well respected throughout the meetings and events world, supporting organisations from conference venues to destinations, and running the Secretariat for the ICCA UK and Ireland Chapter, as well as providing insight and expertise into the market.

Julie is working with The Eastside Rooms to open up new partnerships with organisers both in the UK and internationally. From inception, the venue was designed with association conferences in mind, offering a residential option, large, light, and contemporary spaces, and a set up that offers the same breakout capacity as the main plenary.

The venue is already working closely with West Midlands Growth Company and ABPCO to extend its partnerships throughout the sector. Now, through its work with Watterston Associates it is hoping to take advantage of the market insight, networking, and intelligence opportunities the business manages throughout the year.

“The Eastside Rooms is a really exciting project; a venue with great potential in a city which is gaining global recognition following the Commonwealth Games this year,” comments Julie. “They have a great team and a really good product that association meeting organisers will find easy to work within. We need to work with the sector to show how we can support organisers to make their events successful here.”

“We’re so delighted to have Julie on board here at The Eastside Rooms, she’s already adding value to what we do, and her knowledge of the domestic and international market is huge,” commented Leanne Blade, Sales & Marketing Director, The Eastside Rooms. “This is all about our ‘relationships first’ approach, we want to partner with likeminded people and brands and build long standing relationships. We have a lot of ambition in our business and bringing in people of the stature of Julie will help us realise them all.”
