  • Live Events reinsurance Scheme – Spring Review Survey (closes 27th March) – Jamie at DCMS has shared the following message ‘As you all know, the UK government launched the Live Events Reinsurance Scheme last September to support live events across the country that are at risk of being halted or delayed due to an inability to obtain COVID-19 cancellation insurance. The government committed to a review point for the Scheme in Spring 2022, as part of its ongoing efforts to make sure the Scheme achieves its objectives to support live events following the impacts of COVID-19. DCMS is gathering views on the Scheme from the live events sector to help inform this review, via this online survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and closes at midnight on Sunday 27th March. Please also feel free to pass the survey onto any contacts you feel would like to contribute their views. If helpful, further information about the Live Events Reinsurance Scheme can be found here’.
