- Independent Covid Inquiry
You will be aware that the Government has established an Independent Inquiry into the Government’s response to Covid. Baroness Heather Hallett has been appointed as the Chair of the inquiry and although she hasn’t yet been provided with the terms of reference by Government, plans are being put in place to start work sometime this Spring. While they are waiting for their terms of reference, the Inquiry team are scoping the issues for their investigation to cover and are holding a series of round tables. The good news is that one of these roundtables will be on the impact of Covid on the Travel and Tourism industry so it looks like they recognise the impact on the sector.
