30 Euston Square brings attendee wellbeing to the fore

Film shorts ‘Moments of Mindfulness’ added to venue’s delegate offering

Award winning venue, 30 Euston Square, is bringing the welfare of its conference guests to the fore with the addition of breathing and mindfulness exercises to its delegate offering.

Acknowledging the changing face of workplace culture and growth in corporate wellbeing strategies, 30 Euston Square has created a suite of bite-sized videos that can be screened both at the start of an event and post-lunch too.

Titled ‘Moments of Mindfulness’, the films feature noted corporate wellbeing specialist Nick Stolerman and are designed to share wellbeing techniques that can be easily practised in any meeting room set up.

Event planners can add 30 Euston Square’s ‘Morning Mindfulness’ session to the start of the day to help bring a sense of calm and provide clarity for delegates or include ‘Recharge and Refocus’ after the midday break to invigorate the senses and combat post-lunch fatigue ahead of the afternoon’s proceedings. In addition, delegates enjoying an overnight stay in one of the 41 boutique bedrooms, can take advantage of an invigorating ‘Rise and Shine’ session to kickstart the morning and a soothing ‘Wind Down’ session to promote relaxation before bedtime.

30 Euston Square’s acknowledgement of delegate wellbeing and mental health sends a clear message to event planners that the venue recognises employee duty of care and the importance of corporate wellbeing strategies, with their short video series set to have a positive impact on attendees’ experience.

Luiz Mazzari, general manager at 30 Euston Square, comments “Nurturing workplace wellbeing for a happy and healthy workforce is a business imperative and we extend this philosophy to the events spaces as well, where delegates convene. Our longstanding commitment to prioritising attendee wellbeing is reflected in thoughtfully curated, well-balanced menus that not only keep participants healthy and energised but also underscore our dedication to supporting their overall welfare. Recognising the vital role in supporting mental health, we’ve added our ‘Moments of Mindfulness’ film shorts in both our day and overnight event packages at no additional charge, as we strive to heighten the venue experience.”

Nick Stolerman, corporate wellbeing specialist, adds: “Yoga, meditation and breath work are ancient practices and we have brought a contemporary application into the workplace. They are proven to help manage stress and anxiety and can also be used for relaxation. When corporate wellbeing is in such high demand, these practices are an ideal addition to a conference programme.” 30 Euston is a Grade II listed building with a heritage for connecting people together. In between Marylebone and Euston mainline stations and situated close to Kings Cross St Pancras, 30 Euston Square is one of the best-connected locations for business and association events. The venue can host a maximum of 300 guests in its purpose build auditorium and screening room, as well as having more intimate spaces for boardroom style gatherings and 41 bedrooms for overnight delegates.
