14th June 2022, UK: Hilton Birmingham Metropole – one of the UK’s most well-known meetings and events destinations – has enhanced its offering for overnight guests with an extensive upgrade of its sport and leisure facilities.

The refurbishment of its LivingWell Health Club allows C&E delegates, hotel guests and LivingWell Members improved access to state-of-the-art gym equipment, a fully refurbished steam room and sauna and improved changing rooms, as well as a new juice bar.

Nicola Underhill, the hotel’s General Manager said: “By upgrading our leisure facilities, we’re able to offer our guests everything under one roof – a great place to meet, to eat, to stay and to relax. When delegates stay, we want them to feel as though they are not just in a great place to do business but also the perfect setting to relax and enjoy too. By ensuring we have state-of-the-art leisure facilities, we can help guests to maximise their downtime, which is hugely important to both us and them.”

The upgrade forms part of the venue’s much anticipated, multi-million-pound refurbishment, that has seen the introduction of three new bar and restaurant concepts, refurbished bedrooms and the overhaul of its extensive conference and events facilities.

Hilton Birmingham Metropole, which usually hosts over 2,000 events per year, has enjoyed a phased re-opening since September.
