  • DCMS Request For Information On Impact Of Passport Requirement On School/Youth Group Visits

This is a bit of an urgent one – DCMS need any information/evidence that you may have on the impact that the requirement that all visitors from the EU have a full passport is having on the school group/youth group/EFL market.

This information is need by lunchtime tomorrow (4th May) which isn’t ideal but if you have anything that you can share, can you please let me know. It only need to be a statement like:

“Our members/destination usually receives X school groups per annum. This year they estimate that they will receive only Y school groups. We estimate that this means a loss of £m in revenue. The reason for this is the new requirement for all school children to have passports”

If you are able to provide any evidence on the impact of requiring school groups to have passports, regardless of how sketchy it is, please let me know.

  • More Home Office Webinars On Ukrainian Refugees

They are therefore adding dates to their webinar programme to explain visa routes for Ukrainian nationals, how to carry out right to work/rent checks, and support and guidance for employers. The webinars also provide information on how employers can help Ukrainian nationals who decide to take up employment whilst in the UK. The details and links for signing up to attend are as follows:
