UKEVENTS Weekly Update – 8th February 2024

A note relating to the registration to Confex for those attending the UKEVENTS Meeting on 28th February. If you have not already registered and are an association, you will not need to enter a code, Mash Media will just approve you after you register. If you are considered as ‘suppliers’, you will need to enter the following code (UKEVENTS) when prompted during the online registration to get the discount and your pass. 2024 Registration – International Confex (international-confex.com). The Agenda and meeting room details will be shared next week.

  • Martyn’s Law Consultation Reminder – A further public consultation on the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill, also known as Martyn’s Law has been launched. The consultation will run for 6 weeks and can be found here Martyn’s Law: standard tier consultation – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). It will close on Monday 18 March 2024. A webinar took place today, but we have been informed that more webinar dates will be released soon.
