Lime Venue Portfolio To Light Up Confex with ‘Kitchen Disco’ Activation

– Brand to Launch ‘S’ Guide as part of wider ESG Conversation –

Lime Venue Portfolio will be bringing a Kitchen Disco concept to International Confex (26-27 February) as it looks to continue a conversation with event organisers around ESG, and specifically around social and community impact programs at events.

As well as contributing to the event’s content through its sponsorship of the People & Culture theatre, delivering two educational sessions, and convening a specialist roundtable at the show, Lime Venue Portfolio will be showcasing best practice examples throughout its presence at International Confex.

On the stand itself, which stylishly creates a ‘scandi-kitchen’, the brand will be serving Flawsome drinks, a new enterprise which makes cold-pressed drinks from wonky & surplus fruit, and Change Please coffee, another social enterprise whose profits help people experiencing homelessness, by offering them access to their Barista Training Programme, whilst supporting them in finding a living wage job, accommodation, therapy, access to banking and onward employment opportunities.

Finally, Lime Venue Portfolio will be launching its own ‘S’ Guide, which offers event organisers more insight and examples of social impact programmes within the events industry.

Jo Austin, Conference & Events Sustainability Lead at Levy UK and Sales Director at Lime Venue Portfolio, commented: “This is all about best practice. In every detail we’re trying to showcase what ‘good’ looks like from a social impact perspective, be it our educational sessions, our roundtable, right down to the drinks we’re serving on the stand.

“For us, some of the best conversations happen at the kitchen, during the day we’re looking forward to seeing our clients, and meeting with our industry, to have these conversations. We’ll then convert ourselves to a Kitchen Disco for more informal networking,” concludes Jo.

The guide will also be available for public download from the content hub on www.limevenueportfolio.com following the event. The Kitchen Disco will take place on the stand in partnership with stand designers and creators Leopold Marketing and The Delegate Wranglers.
