Power in Partnership: The beam Agency Referral Campaign​

We’re calling on all our members to help grow the beam community by inviting new agency members to join our association.

If you know an independent or smaller agency that would benefit from beam’s network, standards, and support — now’s the time to refer them.

Why refer?

  • Maintain a balanced, diverse and credible membership

If your referred agency joins beam you’ll receive:

How It Works?

  2. Our team will contact them and guide them through joining
  3. Once they’re confirmed as a member, your reward is unlocked!

      Note: Referred agencies must be new to beam and hold a valid TIDS or IATA registration.

What is TIDS and why it matters

  • TIDS gives your agency a unique, industry-recognised ID that airlines, hotels, car hire companies, cruise lines and other suppliers use to recognise your bookings, even if you’re not an IATA-accredited agent.
  • It’s completely free under the updated TIDS programme (no application fee or annual fee).
  • A TIDS code helps suppliers track bookings and commissions correctly, making it easier to work with partners across the industry.

Step-by-step: How to apply for a TIDS number

Log in or create an account on the IATA Customer Portal.

Once logged in, go to “Services” and select “TIDS”.

Complete the online TIDS application form, uploading all supporting documents.

Submit your application.
IATA will review it and notify you once your TIDS code is approved.

What you need before applying

Make sure you have the following ready to upload:

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
