Restaurant Associates and IWM Elevate Guest Experience with New Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Partnership

Imperial War Museums and Restaurant Associates Venues, collectively renowned for delivering premium hospitality across some of London’s most iconic sites are partnering withUber Boat by Thames Clippers to introduce an elevated and memorable dimension to guest experiences.

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, who operate one of the Thames’ leading river transport services under the Uber Boat franchise, will collaborate with the museum’s catering partner, Restaurant Associates Venues to offer guests a bespoke experience to their visit. After time spent at one of Imperial War Museums’ landmark venues – including HMS Belfast and the Churchill War Rooms – guests will now be able to enhance their event with a curated river tour and drinks reception aboard one of the Clippers’ vessels. The fleet, made up of more than 23 high-speed catamaran boats, are designed for comfort and features impressive glass ceilings that provide unparalleled views of London’s riverscape.

An unforgettable experience, perfectly suited for the longer balmy evenings. Ideal for clientshosting summer events, drink receptions or corporate days, looking to add a surprise element and get their teams away from their desks. Group pick-ups from Canary Wharf can also be arranged.

Speaking about the new partnership, Tracey Astles, Head of Sales at Restaurant Associates Venues said: “We approached Uber Boat by Thames Clipper because we recognised how their on-water experiences could really elevate what we offer. Our industry is all about exceeding expectations and this partnership allows us to curate memorable experiences for our guests. Clients can now host daytime meetings within the remarkable historic setting of the Churchill War Rooms, then step straight onto a private chartered Uber Boat by Thames Clippers vessel to enjoy a sparkling drinks reception while gliding along the Thames – knowing they will arrive in style at HMS Belfast to continue the experience with an exclusive evening event.”

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers is equally excited about the partnership, marking their first collaboration of this kind with a London venue and hospitality provider: “Partnering withImperial War Museums and Restaurant Associates Venues allows us to bring a completely new dimension to corporate events in London. This experience blends the city’s iconic heritage venues with a modern, seamless river to venue journey that only Uber Boat by Thames Clippers can offer. Together, we’re creating a standout way for guests to move through the capital and enjoying London from a perspective that’s as memorable as the venues themselves”, said Alison Murphy, Head of Sales at Uber Boat Thames Clippers.

Across its five distinct venues, Imperial War Museums offer flexible event spaces with a contemporary approach to service, food and entertainment and the unique opportunity for guests to engage with history. “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Thames Clippers which will enable us to link two of our most iconic sites – the Second World War cruiser, HMS Belfast, and the Churchill War Rooms in Westminster – by travelling along London’s most famous waterway. This is a great way to enhance the guest experience and provide a seamless journey between two of the city’s most historic venues.” added, Daisy Jones, Head of Commercial Events, Experiences and Catering at Imperial War Museums.

This new partnership is about bringing together exceptional hospitality on land with unique moments on the river. For further information on corporate packages which include thisexclusive experience please contact robert.mitchell@restaurantassociates.co.uk.
