Come Dine With Me brings the beam community together across three memorable venues

beam members came together for an evening of excellent food, warm hospitality and relaxed networking as Come Dine With Me returned across three locations on 13 August.

Held simultaneously at The Met Hotel Leeds, The Lensbury Resort in Teddington and Crowne Plaza Stratford-upon-Avon, each event offered its own distinctive experience—made all the more memorable by taking place on one of the hottest days of the year.

At The Met Hotel Leeds, guests enjoyed a fine-dining experience celebrating locally sourced produce and the very best of Yorkshire hospitality. The hotel’s impressive ballroom provided an elegant setting for members to connect over beautifully presented food.

At The Lensbury Resort, members made the most of its picturesque riverside location by taking to the water before sitting down to an alfresco dinner. Despite temperatures reaching 38 degrees, the beautiful surroundings, delicious food and excellent company made it an evening to remember.

Crowne Plaza Stratford-upon-Avon also embraced the summer weather, hosting an alfresco evening featuring fine food, entertainment and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with industry colleagues beside the River Avon.

Some comments from LinkedIn from the night…

Hottest spot in the UK on the Hottest day of the year 🥵 38 degrees! 🫠

My first event with beam since coming back to work was fantastic. Sweaty but gorgeous evening in Teddington for the come dine with me networking night.

Beautiful setting, delicious food and very good company 👌

Great evening last night at beam come dine with me at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Stratford, it was lovely to see everyone there in the sunshine ☀️ even if it was the hottest day of the year!

I love telling everyone about Classic British Hotels & Resorts and how we have grown this year!

Great company, great food, and amazing event!

An absolute pleasure to host the beam Come Dine with Me last night. What a fantastic evening! I was far too busy chatting (& eating!) to capture a group photo, but I had to share some of the beautiful food we enjoyed and our ballroom looking it’s very best.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us & helped make it such a memorable evening!

Lovely evening (albeit 37 degrees) at the beam Come Dine With Me event at The Crown Plaza Stratford.

Brilliant attendance and great to see everyone, wonderful company and hospitality.

Thank you for being great hosts David Tremmil, Katie Niland, Clare Galvin-Jones, Robin Ford and Lucy Allen

The evening also demonstrated the generosity of the beam community, with just shy of £1,000 raised across the three venues for beam’s chosen charity, The Children’s Rainbow Trust.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make the events a success – not only by creating three memorable evenings, but by supporting an important cause in the process.
