Julie Shorrock, Membership Director for Agencies at beam, said:

“Agencies are an integral part of our industry ecosystem, and we want to ensure their voices, challenges and successes are reflected within beam. While we have a highly engaged agency membership, we know there are many more agencies across the sector that could benefit from being part of the conversations and professional development opportunities the association provides.”

Jess Brabant said:

“I am delighted to be joining beam and supporting an association that plays such an important role in bringing our industry together. Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand the value of strong professional communities and the opportunities they create for collaboration and business growth.

I am looking forward to engaging with agencies across the sector, understanding their priorities and helping more organisations discover the benefits of becoming part of beam’s supportive and influential community.”

David Tremmil, Chair of beam, added:

“Agencies are a vital part of the business events industry, connecting clients, venues, destinations and suppliers while driving innovation and delivering exceptional experiences. Ensuring agencies have a strong voice within beam is essential to maintaining a balanced and representative membership.

Jess’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to supporting and growing this important community, creating opportunities for greater collaboration, knowledge sharing and collective success across the industry.”
