Big-Game Energy Meets Event Experience as Huddersfield’s Accu Stadium Joins Lime Venue Portfolio

Lime Venue Portfolio has once again grown its sporting venue range with the addition of the Accu Stadium, home of Huddersfield Town AFC. The announcement follows a run of high-quality and iconic venues joining the group, offering more dynamic venue options for event professionals.

The Accu Stadium is a modern, multi-purpose venue which sits at the heart of its local community. Renowned not only for hosting top-flight football and rugby league but bringing people together in spaces that are both easy to use and inspiring. Its suites, boxes, and lounges offer arresting views of the pitch, while its adaptable event facilities can host everything from corporate meetings and gala dinners to exhibitions and celebrations.

The stadium represents yet another quality addition to Lime Venue Portfolio, which has grown a reputation for quality customer service, built around speed and accuracy of responses, as well as deep-rooted relationships with event agencies and corporates.

The partnership reflects the increasing recognition of the benefits of joining a venue group that understands both sides of the events industry, what organisers need from venue partners, and what venues can do to support the needs of organisers.

“This has been an amazing period for us and our portfolio, and having the Accu Stadium really is the icing on the cake in terms of a quality, recognisable venue,” said Jo Austin, Sales Director, Lime Venue Portfolio. “This is a class set up with brilliant spaces that really speak to the local community’s love of sport and experience. We’re delighted to have them on board.”

“We wanted to work with a team that really understands the events market, who can connect us to planners looking for something a little different, something with real character,” said Gareth Davies, Managing Director, Accu Stadium. “We’ve done a lot of work with local community events, but there is a great opportunity now to grow our national business.”

The collaboration also highlights a wider trend in the events industry, as organisers seek venues that combine professional facilities with local identity and heart. Lime Venue Portfolio’s team, with experience from across hospitality, venues, and agency backgrounds, continues to connect these worlds, helping planners find extraordinary spaces that inspire, engage, and reflect the people they bring together.
