Blackberry Events partner with prestigious annual awards

A fast-growing Birmingham events company has forged a new partnership with an annual star-studded awards scheme which honours unsung heroes from across the UK.

Blackberry Events are now supporting the Multicultural Business and Community Champion Awards, now in its 11th year of honouring community, charity, and business leaders from all walks of life.

Georgie Butler, Director at Blackberry Events, said: “As a purpose-led event agency, we are delighted to announce our new partnership with the MBCC Awards.

“We are thrilled to be working alongside fellow Birmingham based entrepreneur, motivational speaker and coach, Zoe Bennett BEM, and her team at Training Personified on delivering the 11th annual MBCC Awards ceremony.

“This prestigious event welcomes over 800 delegates through its doors, including a celebrity presence with past VIPs including Sir Trevor McDonald, Alison Hammond, Annie Lennox, Sir Lenny Henry, Beverley Knight, Levi Roots and many more, all in attendance to celebrate the unsung, heroes of business and community.

Georgie added: “Our partnership was formed on organic conversation around shared values and passion for people, purpose, and championing diversity. We are delighted to be working on an event that aligns with us so well and has such strong impact and legacy on the community, not to mention working alongside the amazing Zoe, who is a true inspiration to us all.”

The MBCC Awards was established by founder Zoe back in 2015 and came after her battle for justice following the tragic and brutal murder of her beloved farther. As the visionary behind this event, Zoe’s journey is deeply personal, rooted in a profound desire to honour those who selflessly uplift others.

Zoe added: “We are so excited to welcome Georgie and her team at Blackberry Events to this year’s event. Having founded the awards all those years ago, we are committed to have our fabulous winners at the heart of the night. Blackberry Events are known for their dedication to purpose and vision, and we can’t wait for our collaboration and achievements together to bring major impact.”

Nominations are being announced over on the MBCC Awards social media channels and tickets are on sale for this year’s ceremony on Saturday, November 28 at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole Hotel.
