Blackberry Events Team soar in Birmingham Young Professional Awards shortlisting

Following suit from previous Young Professional of the Year winner and Director of the event agency Blackberry Events Georgie Butler, not one, not two but three members of the team have been named finalists for these prestigious regional awards. 

Over 500 young professionals will take to the Birmingham Town Hall to celebrate excellence in the under 35’s and all they have achieved within their careers working in Greater Birmingham. 

The event is held by Future Faces, an arm of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce that focuses on the development and championing of young professionals in the region. 2027 looks to be an exciting year for the awards and those attending with some much-welcomed changes on the horizon, including the move from the ICC to the Town Hall and a change up in event format to keep it fresh and engaging.

The Blackberry team are up against tough competition from inspirational people who work in a wide range of organisations, some household names such as Gym Shark, Barclays and a global big four company, KMPG. 

Across 16 award categories in total the team are represented in three:

Business Development Manager, Sophie Millman has been recognised for the award for Sales, Comms and Marketing for her efforts in driving brand awareness and business growth.

Marketing and Sustainability Manager Ellie is in the running for the award for ESG and Sustainability, with her efforts in responsible business practices being highlighted.

And finally, Event Manager Rae Rodien is up for the award for Events and Hospitality, showcasing her hard work in delivering high-quality experiences.

    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
