We’ve been at it again… as we are becoming ever conscious about the “sustainability and footprint” of what we do here at Woburn House Conference Centre, we are excited to announce that Woburn House Conference Centre, Tavistock Square, London. WC1 has received the ECOsmart Silver Award certification by Greengage.
ECOsmart is a business travel and events industry certification that recognises organisations who can demonstrate a comprehensive approach to environmental sustainability within their business and who promote a green approach with their clients. The accreditation process examines sustainability practice in six key areas, which are Energy and Water Conservation, Waste Management, Rooms and Facilities Management, Sustainable Food and Beverages, Building Infrastructure and Corporate Social Responsibility. Katy Stephens, Senior Sales and Events Exec at Woburn House explains why this was so important to the venue and their clients.

The accreditation is specific to the meetings and events industry and was created to inspire and empower organisations to create meaningful change with Greengage.
It is a fabulous tool that allows us to provide a benchmark that everyone trusts.
The whole team have been working hard throughout the start of the year to ensure that the goals, criteria and actions in the accreditation process have been tailormade so they are relevant to both our business and the policies of our clients. I am immensely proud to have their hard
