Light to Night with NAEC Stoneleigh

As we continue our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, we are excited to announce the introduction of our new ‘Light to Night’ policy, effective from September 2024. This initiative is a key step towards making our venue a more sustainable and eco-friendly space for our customers and organisers.

As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact, we will be asking event organisers to ensure that all non-essential stand power is switched off at the end of each event day, unless required for essential equipment such as refrigerators. This simple yet effective measure will help us reduce energy consumption and minimize our carbon footprint.

Lisa Aggett, Senior Event Manager said; “As a venue, we are knuckling down to improve our sustainability policy. Over the last 12 months, we have been working closely with our organisers and across the internal team to identify areas we can be greener. By making this change, we’ll be able to save energy that would have otherwise been wasted overnight. It’s a small step that can make a big difference when combined with other sustainable practices we’re implementing.”

We believe that by working together with our valued customers, we can make a positive impact on the environment. By joining forces, we can create a greener future for our venue and the planet.
