Lime Venue Portfolio & Levy partner with ICCA UK&I Conference to deliver Biohub Discovery Tour

Lime Venue Portfolio and Levy have partnered with the UK & Ireland Chapter of ICCA, the global association for the international meetings industry, as the lead sponsor for the 2025 annual conference, set to take place in Leeds from 26–28 February 2025.

As part of this collaboration, Lime Venue Portfolio and Levy will host a pre-conference discovery tour of the pioneering Biohub at Ings Farm. This innovative demonstrator farm in North Yorkshire, backed by Levy, is being transformed from an upland grazing farm into a regenerative agricultural landscape driven by a holistic, system-based design. Spanning 92 acres, the Biohub serves as an educational hub for both current and future generations of chefs and farmers, promoting sustainable farming practices.

Levy uses the site to teach its culinary and operational teams and clients about precision agriculture, agroforestry, and regenerative farming techniques. Last year alone, over 300 colleagues attended workshops helping to install over 35 water features and plant 250 trees. Hundreds of senior hospitality and food service professionals and industry leaders from across Yorkshire’s food and agriculture sector have also attended discovery days at the farm.

The partnership with ICCA UK&I Chapter will also see Lime Venue Portfolio participate in the conference, delivering valuable insights on ecological innovation from speaker Dr Vincent Walsh, Director of Decarbonisation at Levy. Dr Walsh will talk about the importance of making better decisions about the food we eat and its provenance.

A highlight of the event will be the evening celebrations at The Royal Armouries Leeds, part of the Lime Venue Portfolio. Here attendees can explore a fascinating collection of historical artifacts, including Japanese samurai weapons, iconic movie props, Henry VIII’s armour, and an Indian war elephant. The menu will offer tasty and sustainable food options whilst taking in many areas of the museum to add to the ambience, this alongside a great selection of drinks including some great Lo & No drink options make for an unforgettable event.
