Parallel Blue Global Group (PBG) Announces Leadership Transition as Mark Harsant Appointed Managing Director

PBG, the leading UK based global event management agency, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Harsant as Managing Director. He succeeds Paul Martin as part of a planned leadership transition designed to support the company’s long-term growth and future ambitions.

After leading the business through a significant period of development and success, Paul will step into the role of Executive Chairman while continuing as owner of the business. In this new position, he will remain actively involved in supporting the team, helping to deliver the company’s strategic plans and representing PBG externally.

The appointment forms part of PBG’s succession planning strategy and reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring strong leadership for the next phase of its growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Paul Martin said:

“This is a significant milestone for PBG and one that has been carefully planned. Having led the business for many years, I believe now is the right time to hand over the reins and allow the next generation of leadership to take PBG forward.”

“Mark’s appointment is a reflection of the incredible contribution he has made to our success. Throughout his time with the business, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep industry knowledge, a strong network of relationships and an unwavering commitment to our people, clients and values.”

“His skills, experience and vision make him the ideal person to lead PBG into its next chapter. We have ambitious growth plans, and I am confident that under Mark’s leadership the business is exceptionally well positioned to achieve them.”

Paul added:

“While I am stepping aside from the role of Managing Director, I am certainly not stepping away from the business. As Executive Chairman and owner, I will continue to work closely alongside Mark and the wider team, supporting them through the transition and helping to deliver our strategic objectives. I remain as passionate as ever about PBG’s future and look forward to continuing to represent the business externally.”

Reflecting on his new position, Mark said:

“It is a real privilege to take on the role of Managing Director of PBG. Having been part of the business for almost 15 years, I have seen first-hand the dedication, expertise and values that have shaped the company into what it is today. Working closely with Paul over the years has been an invaluable experience and I am proud to help lead a business with such a talented team and strong reputation.

Looking to the future, I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead. With several plans already taking shape, PBG is well positioned for its next phase of growth. Together, we will build on our success, embrace new opportunities and continue driving the business forward as we enter our 36th year of trading.”

This leadership transition marks an exciting new chapter for PBG as the company continues to invest in growth, innovation and delivering outstanding services to its clients.
