Richmond’s Winter Terrace Set to Reopen for the Season

– Winter Wonderlounge Returns to Richmond Hill Hotel –

Returning ahead of Christmas, Winter Wonderlounge, located within Richmond Hill Hotel, is set to open its doors on Friday 22nd November. 

The popular winter experience sees the hotel’s al fresco terrace transformed into a winter wonderland. Guests can enjoy the ultimate festive experience complete with fondue, hot drinks and cosy blankets whilst surrounded by fairy lights. 

From Friday 22nd November, Winter Wonderlounge will be open every Friday and Saturday from 5pm, offering mulled wine, Emmental, Raclette and Reblochon-based cheese fondue with charcuterie, artisan bread, Parisian potato salad and steamed broccoli.

Guests can add extras such as the hotel’s popular maple glazed chipolatas, or they can opt for a Belgian chocolate fondue served with fresh fruit and marshmallows to finish. 

The bookings diary is now open with Winter Wonderlounge officially returning on Friday 22nd November. Guests can book tables for two to eight people, ideal for Christmas catch ups with friends, date nights and family gatherings.

Charlotte Alldis, Marketing Director at Richmond Hill Hotel, said: “This winter season sees the return of our beloved Winter Wonderlounge which remains popular with locals, hotel guests and Londoners looking for somewhere festive to celebrate. 

“There are many winter terraces in London however we like to think Winter Wonderlounge is special thanks to its spectacular surroundings. We’re located right next to the gorgeous Richmond Park and Richmond has plenty going on throughout the season from its Christmas markets to independent and boutique shops if you’ve still got some shopping left to do. 

“I can’t recommend indulging in our cheese fondue package and warm mulled wine enough, and although there are heaters and plenty of blankets, we’d encourage guests to wrap up to keep warm so they can enjoy the full experience.”

Winter Wonderlounge is open Fridays and Saturdays from 22nd November 2024 from 5pm to 9pm, weather permitting. Booking is required and a table is reserved for two hours, adults only.
