The Eastside Rooms launches platform to enable 24/7 online conference bookings

In response to growing client demand, The Eastside Rooms has partnered with hospitality tech company Amadeus to implement their cutting-edge online booking platform, Delphi Direct, which delivers online conference room booking capabilities.

Delphi Direct integrates with the venue’s existing bookings management system and provides live access to its inventory. It allows customers to book smaller meeting rooms instantly, including essentials like room hire, teas & coffees, lunch, and simple AV.

The platform promises to be transformative for The Eastside Rooms as it continually evolves to meet the needs of its business events offering and clients.

“It’s been a game changer for both The Eastside Rooms and our clients and delegates,” says director of sales, Leanne Bladen. “We realised we needed instant sales responses, and the new online platform has eased and streamlined the booking process for everyone. Event organisers are happier because they’re able to book quickly, get answers and have everything in place with the click of a button. And for us, with the booking and sales of our smaller meeting rooms taken care of, our internal teams are freed up to focus on large events and the delivery of exceptional service across the whole venue.”

This is just one of many initiatives adopted by Birmingham’s newest conference centre to improve the client experience and enhance business development across the board. Along with Delphi Direct, The Eastside Rooms also offers the latest in AV technology, including high-definition video conferencing, live streaming capabilities, and advanced sound and lighting systems. This ensures that events can reach wider audiences, engage participants more effectively, and deliver content in more innovative ways.

Leanne explains: “We’re very focused on operational efficiency and customer service excellence so advanced tech adoption is key for us. Often, with both corporate and association clients, there are delegates and even speakers who are unable to be physically present and we’re proud to say we’ve been able to deliver effective hybrid integration time and time again.”

The Eastside Rooms embraces a proactive response to an ever-evolving industry, which includes addressing economic challenges and bespoke client needs, ensuring continued success and mutual growth. Currently in a trial period, Delphi Direct has already received significant uptake and positive feedback from clients.
