The Venues Collection Strengthens Commercial Team with Key Promotions

The Venues Collection is delighted to announce the promotion of two key members and a restructure of its commercial team, emphasising the company’s commitment to growth and excellence in the conference and events sector.

Lisa Morris has been promoted to the role of Commercial Director and will lead the new commercial team. Lisa brings over 25 years of extensive venue and hotel experience to her new role, having worked with renowned brands such as Marriott, Q Hotels, and Almarose Hotels. Since joining TVC in 2020 as Revenue Director, Lisa has been instrumental in driving the company’s revenue strategies and growth. In her new capacity, she will oversee the strategic direction and performance of the commercial team, ensuring the continued success and growth of the Group.

Katie Whitby has been promoted to Head of Sales. Katie has over 25 years of expertise in venue and hotel sales and marketing, with a rich background that includes roles at Intercontinental Hotels, Q Hotels, and Gray Dawes Events. Since joining TVC in 2023 as Regional Director of Sales, Katie has played a crucial role in enhancing sales operations and building strong client relationships. In her new role, Katie will be responsible for the leadership, management, and performance of sales within The Venues Collection. 

Commenting on the promotions, Lisa Morris said, “I am thrilled to take on this new challenge and lead our talented commercial team. This shift from a sales-focused team to a commercial team signifies our commitment to not only meeting sales targets but also developing broader growth strategies and seizing new opportunities. As Commercial Director, my focus will be on creating pathways for expansion and innovation, ensuring that our commercial department is well-equipped to thrive in an ever-evolving market.”

Katie Whitby added, “I am excited to continue my journey with The Venues Collection in this new role. I look forward to leading the sales team to achieve our ambitious revenue targets and building lasting relationships with our clients. By developing a strategic sales plan and working closely with the marketing team, we aim to deliver exceptional value and experiences to our clients, while driving overall revenue performance and growth for the collection.”
