Winter Funland announces its London debut at Olympia

For more than a century, Olympia has staged landmark Christmas events, from circus spectacles to festive fairs, establishing the West London venue as a traditional hub for yuletide entertainment. The addition of Winter Funland continues this legacy, bringing a modern take on family festivities with an all-inclusive winter wonderland experience running from 12 December to 4 January.

The event is anticipated to draw over 100,000 visitors from across London and the UK, promising ticketholders a thrilling festive experience with a giant ice rink, a dazzling circus show and over 20 funfair rides.

Winter Funland event manager Glen Ramsey said:

“We have been successfully running our Christmas shows in Manchester and Birmingham for many years, but this year we are coming to London, and we can’t wait. Olympia is an iconic venue, especially at Christmas time, and we are delighted to be serving up this fantastic show.

“We appreciate how financially challenging Christmas can be for a lot of families and so we have been careful to price our tickets so as many people as possible can come along, because it is important that we all have some great Christmas memories. Once you are here, all the rides, shows and ice-skating are included in your ticket so there’s plenty to do without having to spend a fortune on extras.”

Business Development Director at Olympia Events, Gareth Lloyd added:

“We’re thrilled to host Winter Funland for its inaugural year in London and include this fantastic, family-friendly event to our strong line-up of Christmas events celebrated at Olympia each year. Our central location, excellent transport links, and state-of-the-art facilities make Olympia the perfect home for large-scale seasonal experiences like this.

“We’re excited to welcome families from across the capital and beyond to enjoy everything Winter Funland has to offer and to create unforgettable festive memories here in London.”

Alongside the attractions, visitors can enjoy a vibrant Festive Food Court, serving seasonal favourites and family treats. A Christmas themed bar serving mulled wine and other festive drinks will add to the atmosphere, while special late-night sessions, including a New Year’s Eve event with a live DJ, will appeal to young adult audiences and extend visitor dwell time.

For corporate audiences, bespoke packages will be available for groups of any size (up to 3,000) with unlimited access to Winter Funland’s rides, live shows, food and drink, offering unforgettable end-of-year celebrations within Olympia’s iconic halls.
