Agency Focus: Leadership Growth and Culture at arrangeMY

arrangeMY

Next in our series of Agency Focus, we caught up with Nick Scott, Managing Director of arrangeMY, and 2026 beam Agency Leader of the Year winner. Recognised for his exemplary leadership, innovation and people-first approach, Nick has played a pivotal role in driving both business growth and positive change across the industry.

In this feature, we explore the journey behind arrangeMY’s success, the values shaping its culture, and Nick’s perspective on the future of the meetings and events sector.

What does winning Agency Leader of the Year mean to you?

It’s something I’m genuinely proud of.

Awards like this are personal, but they’re only possible because of the team behind me.

Nothing we’ve achieved at arrangeMY happens without a highly engaged, high-performing team, so this recognition reflects what we’ve built together.

For me, it validates the culture we’ve created. One that prioritises trust, development and long-term relationships over short-term wins.

It also reinforces the direction we’ve taken as a business. Investing in technology, backing our people and staying independent in a consolidating market is the right approach for our clients.

And that’s the part that matters most. We’ve built a business where clients stay because we deliver, not because they’re locked in.

It’s a great moment, but the focus doesn’t change. We keep pushing forward.

Talk to us about arrangeMY

arrangeMY is an independent UK travel, accommodation, venue sourcing and events specialist.

We operate in a space dominated by global players, but our advantage is simple. We combine enterprise capability with SME agility. That means clients get senior expertise, faster decisions and solutions that flex to their needs. We focus on long-term partnerships, not transactional relationships.

We support everything from transient travel to complex workforce accommodation and large-scale events. What differentiates us is how joined-up that offer is. One partner, one strategy, one set of data.

We’ve grown to over £62m turnover with a 98% client retention rate, which tells its own story. Clients stay because we deliver, not because they’re locked in. That accountability sits at the core of how we operate.

Other than your beam Award – what other key successes/milestones have arrangeMY seen over the last few years?

The last few years have been about building a business that delivers consistently.

From a performance perspective, we’ve grown to £62m turnover, secured £25m in new business in the last 12 months and maintained a 98% client retention rate over five years. That level of retention is something we’re particularly proud of. It reflects long-term partnerships, not short-term wins.

Alongside that, we’ve invested heavily in our platform and proposition. Amber Portal has scaled significantly, now supporting over 50,000 room allocations, while wider technology investment across CRM, booking and operational systems has strengthened both client experience and internal efficiency.

Sustainability has also been a major focus. We were proud to win gold at the Greengage Sustainability Awards 2025 for Supply Chain Engagement, recognising the work we’ve done with suppliers to drive measurable impact for clients. In 2024, our Head of Sustainability, Laura Dudley, was also recognised individually for her contribution to advancing sustainability across the sector.

We’ve also received broader industry recognition reflecting our growth, service delivery and talent. That includes Sarah Lee being named a finalist for the beam Young Champion of Change, which is a great example of the strength of our future talent. We’ve also been ranked among the UK’s leading TMCs by Business Travel News Europe and shortlisted for Business Travel Partner of the Year at the Business Travel Awards Europe 2025.

What matters most, though, is client recognition. Seeing our team acknowledged directly by clients, including being named top account manager across a 900+ supplier base, is a strong indicator that what we’re doing is working.

Ultimately, the milestone isn’t any single award. It’s building a business that continues to grow, innovate and deliver, without losing the quality and relationships that underpin it.

Describe arrangeMY in 3 words

Agile. Trusted. Human.

How has the industry changed and how has beam evolved?

The industry has shifted from transactional to strategic.

Clients now expect more than booking. They expect transparency, accountability and partners who genuinely act in their interest. They want insight, control, sustainability and measurable value. Technology has accelerated that, but it’s also exposed gaps where some providers haven’t kept pace.

beam has evolved well because it reflects that shift. It’s moved beyond networking into a proper industry forum where agencies and suppliers can challenge each other and shape what comes next.

The value is in the honesty. It’s one of the few spaces where real conversations happen.

Why should other agencies join beam?

beam gives you access to real market insight, not filtered sales messaging. It also gives you a platform to influence, not just observe.

The best outcomes come from collaboration, not silos.

What’s next for arrangeMY?

Clear focus: scale with intent.

  • Continued investment in technology to simplify booking and improve data visibility
  • Expansion of Amber Portal and workforce solutions
  • Strengthening sustainability delivery, not just reporting
  • Targeting £240m turnover long term, without compromising service

We’re executing against a defined five-year roadmap centred on technology, sustainability, talent and service diversification. This isn’t growth for the sake of it. It’s about doing the right things for clients, not just the fastest route to revenue, while strengthening capability and protecting the quality and culture that underpin our 98% retention rate.

Our platforms will continue to evolve. arrangeMY Trip is enhancing booking, compliance and visibility, while Amber Portal is scaling rapidly across complex accommodation and workforce programmes.

We’re also investing in the foundations. Building teams that trust each other and take ownership as we scale, strengthening leadership and ensuring the business grows without losing agility.

On acquisitions, yes, but selectively. We’ve integrated Ellis Salsby and Combination Venues successfully, and we’ll continue to assess opportunities that add capability, not just volume. Cultural fit and client value are non-negotiable. If it doesn’t deliver the right outcome for clients, we won’t do it.

We remain independent and not for sale. In a consolidating market, that stability matters.

Growth only works if it’s controlled, profitable and sustainable. That’s exactly how we’re approaching it.
