beam freezes membership fees for second consecutive year

2027 fees held at current rates to support members amid economic uncertainty

beam, the association for the business events accommodation and meetings industry, has confirmed it will freeze membership fees for the second consecutive year, holding 2027 rates at their current level.

The decision follows the recent Autumn Budget and reflects the association’s commitment to supporting members as businesses navigate ongoing cost pressures and wider market uncertainty.

Through careful financial management and reinvestment in member services, beam has established a strong financial foundation, enabling it to maintain fees while continuing to deliver advocacy, professional development and networking opportunities.

David Tremmil, Chair of beam, said:

“Our members are managing continued pressures on their businesses, and we recognise how important certainty is when planning for the year ahead. Freezing membership fees for a second consecutive year is a practical way we can support them.

“Careful financial stewardship has put beam in a strong position, and we want that stability to benefit our members directly. We remain focused on making membership work hard for every business, whether through representing their interests, creating opportunities to connect or supporting the development of their teams.”

The fee freeze comes as beam publishes its 2027 events calendar, with a programme of networking and educational events designed to support members throughout the year. The programme will also mark the association’s 30th anniversary.

Alongside its events, beam will continue to champion members’ interests through industry advocacy and provide opportunities to share knowledge, build relationships and strengthen their businesses.

Tremmil added: “Our priority is to give members the support, connections and representation they need to plan and invest with confidence. We look forward to building on this work together in 2027.”
