CHS Birmingham Celebrates 5 Years in Birmingham

Since its launch in Birmingham, CHS has been more than just a date in the calendar, it’s been part of a city-wide celebration of the UK events industry. Together, CHS and Birmingham have staged unforgettable moments, welcomed thousands of event professionals, and showcased the creativity, capability, and ambition that define the Birmingham’s place on the global meetings and events map.

Emma King, CEO & Founder, CHS Birmingham commented, “Our first Birmingham show feels like yesterday, yet here we are, five editions later, proud of the impact we’ve made together. This is a city with an extraordinary events heritage, iconic venues, bold ideas, world-class hotels, boutique spaces, and an energy that’s uniquely its own. Every time we return, we feel the same excitement and gratitude for the partnerships that make it possible.”

Two of those partnerships have been at the heart of the show since day one; West Midlands Growth Company and ICC Birmingham, who have both helped to shape the event’s success.

Birmingham was this year ranked the top UK regional destination for meetings by global events and hospitality technology provider, Cvent. The annual rankings listed Birmingham in 21st place, up from 24th in 2024, ahead of European cities such as Hamburg, Stockholm and Zurich.

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
