CHS Birmingham Promises the Warmest Wellbeing Welcome for 2025

“We attend all our educational sessions at the show. We’re like everyone else, we want to learn, improve, and implement new ideas into our visitor experience, and welfare is critical to who we are as an event,” commented Michelle Rennoldson, Event Director, CHS Birmingham. “This year we’ve really looked at every aspect of our show and tried to put in places ideas that just make it a nicer, more welcoming and safer place to be.”

Drawing directly on delegate and speaker insights, CHS has implemented a series of initiatives designed to make the experience safer, more inclusive and less stressful:

  • Dedicated CHS contact number, on all event materials and signage
  • Meet & greet desk, for solo arrivals at the Welcome Reception
  • Staff-supported arrival, for delegates who request it
  • “Bring Your Industry Bestie” initiative, to ease solo travel anxiety
  • Comprehensive pre-event communication, including clear safety and transport guidance
  • Flexible networking formats, to suit different comfort levels
  • Wellbeing room, for anyone needing time out from the show floor

Each of the measures are underpinned by a simple principle: behind every badge is an individual with unique needs and expectations. “Our industry thrives when people feel comfortable, valued and safe,” added Michelle. “We’re proud to lead by example in Birmingham, showing how thoughtful design and clear communication can create an environment where everyone can focus on connection and content.”
