Last chance for destinations to contribute to TBOE’s 2026 Global Destination Report


Destinations around the world are being called on to share their insights for the 2026 Global Destination Survey, launched by The Business of Events in partnership with VisitScotland Business Events.

The survey gathers perspectives from destinations around the world and informs the Global Destination Report – the annual industry research that tracks how governments support the business events sector and provides evidence destinations can use when advocating for recognition and investment.

Every response helps strengthen the research. The more destinations that take part, the clearer the picture of how the sector is supported and the stronger the collective voice when engaging policymakers.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete, and all responses are fully confidential.

Destinations across the global meetings and events community are encouraged to share their experiences here to help ensure the report reflects the realities of the industry today.

The deadline to take part is 28 March 2026.

What you need before applying

Make sure you have the following ready to upload:

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
