The Business of Events welcomes the Rt Hon Ian Murray MP as Minister of State for Creative Industries, Arts and Tourism at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport

Sir Chris Bryant MP has been moved from the role as part of the ministerial reshuffle prompted by the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner. 

On 6 September, Sir Chris Bryant was appointed Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade.

The Business of Events Director of News & Content, Mike Fletcher, said: “We’d like to thank Sir Chris Bryant for his active engagement and appreciation of the value and importance of business events to UK economic success. It’s experience we trust will serve him well in his new role at DBT. 

“We also warmly welcome the Rt Hon Ian Murray MP to the DCMS. What you need before applying

Make sure you have the following ready to upload:

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
