The Festival of Learning – ABPCO’s incredible educational event

ABPCO, the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers is delivering its flagship educational event of the year.  The Festival of Learning will take place at theEastside Rooms in Birmingham on Monday, 28th and Tuesday 29th April with ground-breaking numbers are expected to attend.

The Festival of Learning is a 2day educational event that delivers award-winning,quality programme content, showcasing innovations and best practice – all of which is highly relevant to PCO’s (professional conferences organisers) delivering events in-house and in agencies, for associations, charities, not-for-profits, unions, public sector and other membership organisers.

This year’s theme is Connect, Collaborate & Challenge and topics include:

Tackling the Talent Crisis, Transforming the Exhibition Floor into a Sponsorship Powerhouse, PCO Quick-Fire Sessions, Beyond Compliance – Transforming events through inclusion & wellbeing.  The Keynote Speaker Nick Elston will talk about ‘How To Forge Ahead: A Lived Experience Mental Health Playbook’.

Content contributors include ICC Wales, TFI Loadstar, Davies Tanner, The Belfy, ISHA, NASUWT – The Teachers Union, Conference Care, EventWell, The Association of Anaesthetists, Mia, MCI, Freshwater, BSI, The Power of Events & Visit Britain.

ACC Liverpool are sponsoring 5 fully supported places for students studying event management degrees and one of the highlights of this year’s event will be the Innovation Hub at the heart of the Welcome Supper and Networking Session on Monday evening.Creative thinkers, innovators and developers from the world of event-tech have been asked to showcase solutions that will elevate and improve event delivery.

  • Legal/business registration proof
    Document showing the legal form and ownership of your business (e.g. certificate of incorporation or equivalent).
  • Business registration & tax ID
    Your official business registration number and/or tax registration number.
  • Business bank account proof
    A bank letter or statement in the business name.
  • One recommendation letter
    From an IATA airline, a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre), or a major travel industry supplier.
  • Travel-services licence (if applicable)
    Only needed if your country requires a licence to sell travel services.
  • Signed TIDS Terms & Conditions
    These are included in the application and must be accepted before submitting.
